From Our Founder
Nobody wants to be sick. Yet, if we are, we should easily be able to access good, quality care from people we know and trust. That is why I founded Harper Health. Here, we’ve created a practice where everyone is content. The patients are content because when they call, a person answers the phone, and that person is laser-focused on helping them. Doctors are content because they have the time and freedom to provide the best care to a small panel of patients. The rest of the team is content because each plays a valued role in delivering care that has a purpose: to support people on their health journey—body, mind, and spirit—so they can live their best lives.
When we opened in August 2016, we had 49 patients in our sole downtown location. We now have over 1000 patients spread over five locations in two states. Yet as we grow, I remain steadfast in ensuring all of us remain true to our values: Treat with dignity each individual who is in any way associated with Harper Health. Advocate for them as if they are a family member. And discern alongside them their optimal path to achieving their best life.
Feel free to contact me directly. I am always happy to hear from you and answer any questions you might have.

Our Philosophy of Care
Our Philosophy of Care
Harper Health is different. Founder Will Harper often invokes the famous early 20th century physician, William Osler, to students when teaching about patient care. Osler said, “Listen to the patient, (s)he’s telling you the diagnosis.” Dr. Will tells his students, “If you’re not sure what’s going on with a patient at the end of an encounter, go back and listen some more.”
Harper Health is designed so physicians can channel Osler’s vision. We give you our time and full attention—and that means helping you create a healthier, more vibrant life.
Harper Health physicians attend to you as a complete person. Our diagnostic approach, treatment plan and communication system are all designed to be integrated into what is going on in your life.
What would it feel like to have a true partner when it comes to maximizing your health, your time, and your ability to live the life you want?

FAQ's
What Is Concierge Medicine?
Concierge is a growing model of healthcare delivery whereby a bundle of services are offered for a prescribed fee outside the traditional healthcare insurance system. Be mindful: not all practices are the same with regard to what services are included. There are very few practices that offer the breadth of services with membership that Harper Health does. A practice like Harper Health is ideal for those willing to invest in a high-quality board-certified physician who will be a true partner in their care. It is also ideal for those whose primary residence may be outside the U.S. or who have high deductible insurance coverage.
Do You Accept Insurance
No. Our concierge medical practice operates solely on a membership model. You pay an annual membership fee that covers your routine care throughout the year. With us there are no forms to fill out when you come, no copays on arrival, no in-network vs. out-of-network questions. This allows us to provide personalized, attentive care and a comprehensive range of exclusive services to members without the constraints often associated with insurance-based practices.
What Is Included in Your Membership?
After you pay your annual membership fee, your primary care throughout the year is now covered. This fee covers access to a range of exclusive services, including extended appointment times, immediate or next-day appointments, direct communication with your medical team, comprehensive health assessments, personalized treatment plans, diagnostic testing in-office, therapeutic interventions, support scheduling appointments, various vaccines, and more. For routine care, we won’t “nickel-and-dime” you once you’re a member.
Do I Still Need Insurance?
Harper Health membership provides just your primary care. Situations may arise where you need advanced care, such as diagnostic blood tests, x-rays, scans, specialty physician visits or hospitalizations. In these situations you will need to use your health insurance. One of the values of a practice like ours, however, is our board certified physicians are adept at treating an extremely wide range of problems using the resources we have in our suites, which limits the frequency of care outside of it.
Will you help coordinate my care, particularly if I’m in the hospital?
Yes. Your physician will facilitate your whole care both internally and with any outside specialists you see. Each of our physicians is on staff at the hospital in the area of their primary practice location. If you need to be admitted for any reason, your physician will guide you every step of the way.
Can I submit claims to my insurance for reimbursement?
At your request we will provide a “superbill” that itemizes the care you receive at your comprehensive annual physical. You can then submit that superbill to your health plan for reimbursement. Reimbursement amounts and policies vary depending on your specific insurance plan. We do not guarantee approval or any level of payment in these cases.
How can I learn more about the costs and membership options?
For detailed information about our fee structure, membership options, and the range of services covered, please contact our concierge medical practice directly at 630-446-6130. We will be happy to discuss the specifics and answer any questions you may have.
Do you offer discounts?
Rates vary, but we do offer discounts for a spouse/partner and dependent children ages 16-26. Please reach out to our membership coordinator at 630-446-6130 or by email at membership@harper-health.com for more information.
